What are the details of the seminar?

This year, we’re offering a 12-week seminar that participants may attend either virtually or in person.

This year, we’re offering one 12-week seminar with 2 options of participation: A virtual or in-person option.

The seminar will run from early April to late June 2026. Virtual sessions will be held on Zoom every Friday from 1 to 4 pm GMT, while in-person sessions will take place in Nairobi on Saturday afternoons from 2 to 5 pm EAT.

The seminar will require 4 hours of preparatory reading every week and participants will need to attend a minimum of 10 out of 12 sessions.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to all, with no specific academic background or field of study required. We are particularly interested in talented Africans who are currently undertaking or have recently completed their undergraduate degrees.

What sort of candidate are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate is intellectually curious, thinks clearly and carefully, and has a strong analytical mindset. Bonus points if they are eager to explore how AI might reshape our world and what we should do about it today.
