- Our Research Associate Marie Iradukunda consulted with the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights about their report “The Use of AI and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights“.
- Our Coordinator, Cecil Abungu, is currently supporting the work of the Kenyan AI Action Lab, the equivalent of AI Safety Institutes in countries like the UK, the US, Japan and Singapore.
- Our team members including Cecil Abungu, Sienka Dounia, Grace Chege and Tomilayo Olatunde have been helping with the Kenya Bureau of Standards’ Code of Practice for AI Applications.
2024
- Our Coordinator Cecil Abungu participated in the final drafting stage of the Kenyan National AI Strategy.
