Junior Research Fellowship

Our Junior Research Fellowship is focused on introducing recent graduates to: (i) How AI could potentially lead to catastrophic risks in the world and (ii) work focused on preventing the occurrence of catastrophic AI risks.
What will JRFs be up to?
Successful JRFs will need to attend our weekly seminar sessions between late May and early August 2025. After that, JRFs will work on their projects for at least 20 hours per week from mid-August to early December 2025. The JRF program is remote-first but we will arrange for some in-person meet ups.

Who can apply?
We’re primarily looking for exceptional candidates who:
- Have completed their undergraduate degree (or are set to complete it by end of July 2025).
- Can set aside at least 5 hours per week from late May to early August 2025.
- Can set aside at least 20 hours per week from mid-August to early December 2025.
